The USP Quality Assurance (QA) Department is an integral player in our overall quest to achieve business excellence
and maximize customer satisfaction. The QA team monitors and assures the quality of products and services we
deliver through assessing organizational processes; providing knowledge management and dissemination; continually
assessing and enhancing employee competencies; and enhancing customer experiences. USP has earned ISO 9001:2000
certification and ISO 17025:2005 accreditation at all applicable global locations.
Keith E. Conerly
Director, Quality Assurance
Keith joined USP in November 2004, bringing with him more than 15 years of diverse quality assurance, quality
control, and analytical experience. At USP, Keith establishes strategic objectives, policies, and plans for global quality
assurance initiatives, including those for our international locations. He is responsible for developing and sustaining
quality systems, overseeing all audit activities, and managing certification activities (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.). In
addition, he periodically interfaces with customers and other third parties to investigate and respond to inquiries related
to the quality of USP products and services.

USP PHARMACOPEIAL EDUCATION TEAM
USP’s Pharmacopeial Education Department strives to deliver exceptional standards-based educational opportunities
for professionals in the pharmaceutical and allied industries. Our team is dedicated to providing courses that help
participants use USP–NF and FCC standards to their greatest advantage, in a variety of convenient and accessible online
and classroom formats. All courses are developed by USP experts who help establish the standards.
Toby Gouker
Vice President, Pharmacopeial Education
Toby joined USP in September 2006, bringing with him more than 25 years of diverse business, technical, and
training experience. Prior to USP, Toby served as the chief academic and operations officer of an educational
institution specializing in on-site training and distance learning for government and industry professionals. His
seasoned experience and successful track record in this field are great assets to his direction and development of
USP’s Pharmacopeial Education program.

Chris Hall
Manager, Pharmacopeial Education Products and Services
Chris became part of the USP education team in September 2007, bringing with him 4 years of experience in online
higher education and adult learning methodologies from Laureate Education, Inc. His background also includes
chemical engineering training and work in consumer healthcare sales and marketing. In his current role, Chris
identifies and leads the development of new USP Pharmacopeial Education courses.
